This episode of the Making After School Cool podcast centers on a project-based college readiness learning event. The CASE for Kids Amazing Race featured five secondary schools, with students divided into ten teams. The teams were assigned to search for landmarks on four colleges/universities across Houston. This activity not only allowed the students to visit the post-secondary institutions, but also taught them leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. The race culminated at the University of Houston Downtown with closing ceremonies.
